Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy applies to visitors, registered users, server owners, Plus members, affiliates, moderators, administrators, and anyone using freshwipe.gg features such as listings, claims, profiles, uploads, votes, favorites, support tickets, LFG, tokens, or promotions.

This policy forms part of the freshwipe.gg Terms of Use.

You must not use freshwipe.gg to submit, upload, link to, promote, coordinate, or facilitate illegal or harmful content or activity.

• Child sexual abuse material, exploitation, or grooming.
• Terrorist, extremist, or unlawful violent content.
• Credible threats, stalking, harassment, doxxing, or sharing private personal information.
• Fraud, scams, phishing, identity theft, credential theft, malware, or harmful scripts.
• Illegal sale of stolen accounts, stolen payment data, stolen digital goods, or unauthorised access.
• Content or activity that violates sanctions, payment rules, or applicable law.

Server listings must be accurate, relevant, and not misleading. Owners should use listing tools to help players make better decisions, not to game the platform.

• Do not claim a server you do not control.
• Do not misrepresent ownership, rules, wipes, group limits, region, tags, monetisation, moderation, affiliation, or player rewards.
• Do not mark a server as solo, duo, trio, vanilla, PvE, PvP, modded, high loot, noob friendly, roleplay, hardcore, or similar if that is materially false.
• Do not add fake Discord links, phishing links, malware links, fake websites, or unrelated advertising.
• Do not use listing content to harass competitors or impersonate another server/community.
• Do not upload unrelated or misleading banners, logos, or screenshots.

Server claim tools exist to verify real ownership or control of a public server listing.

• Do not submit false claims.
• Do not trick another owner into placing your verification token.
• Do not interfere with or sabotage another claim.
• Do not sell or rent claimed listing access without written permission from Freshwipe.
• Never send staff hosting passwords, RCON passwords, billing logins, private keys, or payment credentials.

You must not manipulate discovery systems or abuse automation.

• No bot voting, fake accounts, vote rings, paid vote manipulation, or coercive vote rewards.
• No automated favorites, scripted reports, artificial traffic, or fake analytics inflation.
• No aggressive scraping, crawling, API abuse, rate-limit evasion, or worker interference.
• No exploiting bugs to improve rankings, promotions, claims, analytics, or account status.

Paid features must be used honestly. A paid or promoted listing can still be moderated or removed if it violates rules.

• Do not promote illegal, hateful, scam, phishing, malware, or deceptive content.
• Do not use promotions to evade bans, suspensions, listing restrictions, or moderation.
• Do not buy tokens or Plus with stolen payment methods or through chargeback abuse.
• Do not resell, transfer, or treat tokens as money, crypto, gambling credit, or investment value.
• Do not manipulate invoices, tax details, payment records, or business information.

Profiles, Steam connections, friends, badges, and Looking for Group tools are for genuine player identity and community discovery.

• Do not impersonate users, creators, affiliates, staff, server owners, companies, or game publishers.
• Do not use fake profile images, badges, names, bios, Steam identity, or game-hour claims to mislead people.
• Do not use LFG posts or applications for scams, spam, sexual content, hate, harassment, unrelated advertising, or recruitment into harmful groups.
• Do not mass-spam users through friend or social features.

Affiliates may be able to endorse a limited number of servers with labels such as "Liked by", "Played by", or "Recommended by".

• Endorsements must be honest and not misleading.
• Affiliates must avoid implying official partnership, ownership, sponsorship, or personal experience where that is not true.
• Paid or sponsored endorsements may require clear disclosure under advertising rules.
• Freshwipe may limit, remove, or revoke endorsement rights if they are abused or become misleading.

Uploaded images and support attachments must be safe, lawful, relevant, and suitable for a gaming server discovery platform.

• No malware, scripts, disguised executables, or harmful files.
• No explicit sexual content, exploitative content, illegal extremist content, or graphic real-world violence.
• No hateful symbols or hateful imagery used to attack protected groups.
• No private personal information, identity documents, private messages, addresses, or phone numbers without permission.
• No copyrighted content you do not have permission to use.
• No fake buttons, fake staff badges, fake warnings, or phishing-style graphics.

Reports and support tickets must be used in good faith.

• Do not file false reports to harm competitors.
• Do not spam support, abuse staff, or upload harmful attachments.
• Do not misrepresent facts in claim, billing, moderation, or ownership disputes.

Support issues can be sent to support@freshwipe.gg. Legal or illegal-content notices can be sent to legal@freshwipe.gg.

Freshwipe may take action where this policy is violated or where action is needed to protect users, owners, staff, payment systems, legal compliance, or platform reliability.

Actions may include warnings, content removal, image deletion, claim rejection or reversal, vote or ranking adjustment, promotion cancellation, token restrictions connected to abuse, listing suspension, account suspension, account termination, affiliate rights removal, support restrictions, audit logs, or provider/legal escalation.

If you believe moderation action was taken in error, contact support@freshwipe.gg and include your username, affected URL, action being appealed, explanation, and relevant evidence.
